Oadby/Hinckley- finalising project to outsource leisure managementAllerdale Council-Cumbria. Acting on new Public-Private Development LLPActing for Porthcwlis, a subsidiary of the RCT Homes, in a groundbreaking deal to build up to 11,000 new homes across Wales using institutional investment with value of up to £1 billion.The team, led by Stephen Pearson, who created the Procurement process ,negotiated a suite of Framework, Collaboration and Corporate Agreements. Jon Smart finalised Property Docs , which enables district-based Public-Private LLPs to be set up between Housing Providers and the P S PsSP said: “It is the largest housing deal in Wales and is worth almost double the entire £556 million housing budget for 2013/14. We look forward to this project delivering quality housing for the people of Wales”. advised Milton Keynes Council on the “historic” acquisition of £32 million of land and property assets from HCA. Under the terms of an agreement to ‘localise’ the HCA’s roles and responsibilities in MK, the Council has taken over control of planning and responsibility for managing MKs tariff-based infrastructure programme, as well as purchasing land previously held by HCA in M K. over 20 lawyers in contributed to the project, advising the Council on structures, property, planning, contracts, tax and commercial issues.Council Leader Andrew Geary said: “It’s no exaggeration to say that this an historic occasion, not just for the Council but for the whole of Milton Keynes”.We acted on a 5-year project to contract for sophisticated new State of the Art control room installations to be separately implemented for these 2 Authorities under a Joint Procurement.
