Following a number of house restorations in Gloucestershire I was keen to ensure houses I worked on are efficient, cosy and inexpensive to run. Simple measures such as good insulation, reducing draughts and maintaining a good heating system can make all the difference. I set up Heat Tight to look for ways to help people improve the quality of their living environment and stop wasting money. Using a mix of general building experience and gaining an understanding of Thermal Imaging I was able to bring all the problems to life. Whilst I'm still involved with inspecting building of all shapes and sizes I've taken the knowledge of thermal imaging into renewables, especially PV Solar. Heat Tight now collaborates with a number of experienced individuals so we can offer an in-depth analysis what's going on within a solar installation. The PV world is still quite new to the UK and so we'd like to think our approach can help get the most out of a system and once again, stop people from wasting money.
