I lead the Family Law division of Neumann & Turnour Lawyers, and also handle civil litigation and general commercial matters and disputed Estates. My professional life has been spent primarily in Family Law and I am an Accredited Specialist in Family Law. I joined Neumann & Turnour while completing university. Upon graduation I undertook an articled clerkship in the family law section and was admitted as a solicitor. I was appointed as a Director of Neumann & Turnour in 2007 and became Managing Director in July 2014.The majority of my practice focuses on family law disputes and resolution. I have extensive experience with complex property settlements involving private and publicly listed companies with majority and minority shareholdings, trusts and partnerships. I also advise clients in relation to all issues involving children including child custody and care arrangements, child support, child protection and specific issues such as interstate and international relocation or holidays, international child abduction and alternative care arrangements (such as grandparents or extended family members) as well as complex matters involving family violence, abuse and sexual assault.I regularly appear as an advocate in the Family Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, Queensland State Courts (particularly domestic violence hearings), Government tribunals such as the Social Security Appeals Tribunal and at private mediations.In 2013 I completed the Leading Professional Services Program at Harvard Business School, Executive Education in Boston, MA.
