Recently completed my Masters of Biomedical and Health science degree which has allowed me to pursue my interests in research and also provided me with hands-on, research-intensive experience at Monash University. During my time at Monash University, I undertook coursework in cardiovascular and infectious diseases, stem cells and neuroscience. As part of the masters degree, I had to complete a 9-month intensive period of research and gained experience in research in the field of behavioural and cognitive neuroscience. My research required me to develop and validate a new cognitive testing paradigm for animal models at Monash University. This experience has further developed my passion for scientific research as well as sharpened my skills in research, critical thinking and problem-solving. I have a strong interest in physiology and would welcome an opportunity to undertake PhD studies in 2022 or 2023.
