As Co-Owner, I am in charge of many things such as finances, decision-making, marketing, and more. I share responsibility in everything we do and I am hands-on with all of our operations. Growing this venture has taught me a lot and continues to accelerate my growth as an entrepreneur daily. We have recently moved this venture from NC to MN.

Invective was founded in 2021 as a result of two college entrepreneurs finding light during a pandemic. During my time as the Recruitment Chair, I learned a lot pertaining to communication and collaboration. I was in charge of overseeing many tasks including planning and budgeting a week of events for our brothers and recruits to enjoy. These activities encouraged bonding and promoted our organization in a good light to potential new members. I had to get to know every potential new member and educate them on the fraternal world. My responsibilities were not limited to recruitment week, however. Throughout the semester, I had multiple meetings with representatives from our HQ, and I was responsible for relaying information to our members and presenting them with strategies they could deploy in order to generate interest from new students at our university. Being the award chair for Kappa Sigma allowed me to steer the role in the direction it needed to go. I was a founding father of our chapter, meaning I was the first to hold the position. There was no groundwork laid out previously. With the guidance of my brothers, I was able to take the role and make it an essential part of the fraternal experience within our chapter. I was able to take the position and leverage it to keep a constant, friendly competition within our organization that helps everyone to strive to be the best brother and student they can be. The position taught me a lot about budgeting, talking to manufacturers, and keeping within tight deadlines. It also taught me to leave a journal or some form of instructions for those who will take my position upon graduation. Largely, this was a position that required plans to change on a moment's notice and be able to receive and convey instructions to the members above and below my position. Show less

I used Twitch to cultivate a relatively large following and used the opportunity to raise money for different charities. It was a high school passion and I had a lot of fun doing it.
