Customer facing technical support on EJ200 on the newly acquired Typhoon for the QEAF. Part of a small team tasked with setting up and developing EJ200 support at an ML1 & ML2 level. This includes technical advice, EFDC, Logistics, AGE support and ML2 limited repair capability.

EJ200 Field Service, customer facing role providing technical advice to the MoD on in-service issues of the EJ200. Working closely with the MoD EJ200 project team and the Rolls-Royce Service Engineering team to ensure that all technical issues experienced at both ML1 & 2 around the globe are dealt with and resolved in an expedient manner. This role also encompasses workshop management of the forward EJ200 repair facility, a position that requires management of personnel and materials to carry-out repairs to EJ200 within MAA MRP145 legislation and certification of serviceable assets to be delivered to the customer.

Working within the Rolls-Royce in-service engineering team for Trent XWB.Technical review and editing of draft engine maintenence procedures, working closely with design and stress engineers to produce workable damage limits to reduce engine shop service strip. Working within a highly proffesional team, investigating customer issues and implementing solutions.

Operate as part of a 4-man flight crew. Manage, plan & prepare all required personnel and equipment in order to carry out the operational tasking. Directly responsible for all engineering maintenance, documentation, H & S and security aspects involved in the operation of the Boeing C-17 aircraft when conducting missions globally.• C-17 Aircraft Mechanical, Propulsion, Avionics, Electrical and Weapons systems expert• Carry out fault diagnosis, replacement of components, functional testing, Independent critical inspections• Authorized to limit the operating capability of the Aircraft in line with Airworthiness Regulations• Authorized to defer faults, defer maintenance, deviate from Technical Orders, in line with Airworthiness Regulations• Carry out Commissioning & Independent Checks on all aircraft systems• Plan & prepare all required personnel and equipment in order to carry out the operational tasking• Responsible for airworthiness, aircraft maintenance, documentation, H & S, security and safety• On call to carry out short notice world-wide aero-medical evacuations and repatriation flights• Submit written reports on aircraft defects indicating; required spares, operational impact, tooling required for recovery and timescales required to carry out maintenance• Mentoring and development of supplementary crew and ensuring all maintenance is carried out in accordance with the correct procedures and engineering policies

Manage mechanical issues related to aircraft,Manage shift mechanical desk of 25-30 personnel,Maintain duty rosters to provide personnel to Defence critical tasks both in the UK and in various deployed areas,Ensure correct manning levels on shift during day-to-day operations,Arrange and coordinate training for personnel whilst maintaining suitable skill sets on shift.

o Responsible for managing the deployment of up to 12 aircraft and 180 personnel worldwide, sometimes at short notice.o Communicating with various military agencies to ensure deadlines are maintained and requests are fulfilled.o Planning equipment, manning levels and method of deployment, then ensuring personnel arrive when required, enabling a seamless transition to deployed operations
