Commercially develop £29m turnover store, controlling and reducing costs through operational excellence. To ensure smooth operation of all aspects of retailing whilst introducing new brands concepts and procedures. Managing all aspects of health & safety and Fire safety and dealing with external organisations and governing bodies. Ensuring training records are kept updated and due diligence is exceeded at every opportunity. Full control over store profit and loss account. Cash management, risk management, stock control and auditable processes. Responsibility for HR functions, liable for 45 staff responsible for 250 staff. Management of maintenance in a challenging environment. Managing internal and external suppliers to deliver the highest possible standards. Working with facilities management to ensure long term profitability and negate risk. Project management of concession introduction and development within store. Networking with local business to develop sales opportunities. Accountable for stock movement, cash management, maintenance, training and development, recognition and reward, loss prevention, cleaning standards, systems and processes, dealing with external contractors and agencies.
