Consults with AMO teams and operations personnel to determine appropriate course of action at the AMO workshop. Prepares job recommendations based on the available job criteria and knowledge of disciplines and past performance. Maintains a close working relationship with workshop and reliability personnel by ensuring effectiveness of route cause and corrective action recommendations and implementation. Acts as a subject matter expert for AMO training programs, works with the training group to compile using knowledge and delivers specific training to required audience. Leads the workforce in continuous improvement activities, both system and processes and benchmarks appropriate standards of conduct throughout the operation.

Support Maintenance Operations across the following locations – Gabon, Congo, Chad, Cameroon and DRC. Drive HSE leadership across all locations and facilities. Continuous focus on GeoMarket AMO KPI’s to ensure high productivity by reducing turnaround time, resulting in improved Asset availability and utilisation. Conducted enquiries and investigations of equipment failures - Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Monitoring processes involved and taking appropriate Corrective Action (CA) to ensure adherence to highest standards and improved reliability. Analysing processes and equipment / machinery regarding their specified safety parameters to ensure a safe working environment through Risk Assessments and JSA's. Monitor and present maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and monthly Tempo report to Region management. Project Management of new facility start-up’s / upgrades. Facility Management of all Assets, Plant Equipment and 3rd Party Vendors. Develop and direct continuous improvement projects. Responsibility to conduct and monitor performance evaluations of all Direct Reports. Extensive travel required supporting these locations, to ensure conformity, compliance and best practices are in place and shared throughout the GeoMarket.

Field Maintenance Technical Support Group (FMTSG)The main functions of this role was to coordinate Technical Support, New Facility Start Up & Handson Technical Training of local Technicians in all remote locations globally. This was provided by a group of highly experienced, competent Technicians. Various charters were carried out during my time such as - Drilling & Evaluation HS&E Charter - Drilling & Evaluation Quality Charter - 4 3/4" Productline Charter Each of the technicians would work through their individual product line maintenance procedures pin pointing potential HSE and Quality issues with the view to reducing the risk.

Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

Workshop Manager Khobar, Saudi Arabia (rotating). The first year was extremely aggressive increasing revenue from $38M achieved in 2004 to a plan of $103M, which we over achieved to $108M. We did this by building on what we had in a very stronge Drilling systems and Probe based MWD. We introduced higher level technology including 4 3/4" G3 ATK and LWD to LIII and CoilTrak to LII. I was also instrumental in the hiring of 36 young energetic technicians straight from the local technical collages focusing on their Training and Development, installing the companies Core Values, Keys to Success and introducing a strong HS&E culture.I was also part of the team that implemented the first ever Maintenance Training Acadamy for Technicians which was held in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia 2006

Supporting the introduction of V1.5 and V2.5 AutoTrak Rotory Steerable System including Assembly, Disassembly, Trouble shooting and Training of local and expat technicians. Inventory/asset management and root cause analysis. 2003 - 2004 Cairo, Egypt. Supporting the introduction of V2.5 AutoTrak Rotory Steerable System including Assembly, Disassembly, Trouble shooting and Training the local technicians. Inventory & asset management and root cause analysis.2003 Luanda, Angola. Relief Repair & Maintenance Manager covering vacation and training courses. Supported the new facility of Soyo where I coordinated the movements of all tools between the rigsite and the maintenance facility. Only LI maintenance could be performed in Soyo at that time, but I was working towards increasing the maintenance levels by ordering the tooling & test equipment needed, planning inventory levels and planning & executing the layout of the facility to accommidate level II maintenance.

This position involves the assembly and testing of mechanical, electro-mechanical and hydraulic mechanisms associated with maintenance of Downhole Survey tools involved in MWD. Duties included witnessing, verifying and signing-off on Technician’s work during tool / assembly builds to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, attending failure review and equipment planning meetings, Quality control inspection and familiarity with ISO 9002. Introduced to the AutoTrak Rotary Steerable System productline. I also traveled to support various overseas locations on Collar Based MWD/LWD.
