Over my career I have worked in many industries giving me great insight & experience in different facets of business. I started with Anything Electronic repairing mainly automotive electronics (e.g. computers, ignition modules) this also included technical analysis of components to effect a repair. As time went on I progressed into different rolls starting with looking after a Service Department (entering jobs, working with a team, & training new team members), Customer Service (customer support either in person or over the phone, invoicing, accounts & debt collection) this role also included Sourcing Materials and Ordering for the business. I then moved onto a Operations Manager roll with Harvey Norman this included a wide range of skills in the technology department (product management, customer service, inwards and outwards goods) as there was no 2IC at this time some of those responsibilities fall to me. I then moved to Speedy Print and started a roll as a Digital Print Specialist (design and preparation of material to be printed often using office & Adobe suite of programs) this roll was very customer focused. I was also given the opportunity to learn how to use & run a large scale digital printing press (Xerox color 1000 press). I then moved to MyTax where I was a Tax Agent & learnt a lot about the NZ tax system as I assisted customers with there personal tax return or IR3 return this often included talking to customers on the phone and talking to Inland Revenue about the issues with a particular return. This job came to an end in 2018 as IRD took responsibility for everyone's tax returns. I then worked for Veridian glass moving glass from racks to the trucks for delivery the next day, accuracy was paramount for this roll & Health & Safety was also a key learning in this roll. the job started mid afternoon and was completed when the trucks were loaded. As I had a young family I wanted to find a position that enabled me to spend time with my family. So, I moved into a Sales & Service Consultant roll with Electronic Navigation Ltd and am currently using all the skills from theses previous positions & learning more as time passes.
