-Since the beginning of 2019 I have been working as a software developer in the CEI organisation. As part of this team I participate in the development of the GSP application which provides a user interface to customers that utilise Onstar in their vehicles-The main language of use is Java and there is a big emphasis put on clean code principles-We support many dev ,pre-prod and production environments in South America, Europe, China and the Middle East. For this reason, I am the primary DevOps resource for our team. - I have been responsible for setting up new Prod environments and getting the GSP application up and running for new regions. -My DevOps responsibilities include deploying the latest code revisions to WebLogic, troubleshooting issues with the GSP application in prod and setting up new environments for different regions.-I participate in producing code for new features in GSP e.g. new data feeds -A lot of work in GSP centres around stored procedures which I have helped to write and alter-I work within an Agile team and participate in sprints-I have been the primary resource for Connect Direct(File transfer technology). I installed the agents and wrote scripts for our GSP processes to use Connect Direct. These scripts were then triggered by an AutoSys scheduler.-I utilise several technologies in my current role- Jenkins, Cara, Autosys, Filebeat, Postman, PCF, Artifactory, Connect Direct, Oracle databases, Sonar,Bitbucket.-Proficient in Java, Python, C++, C and shell scripting.

-For 4 years I worked within the EAI Operations Team. As part of this team I was responsible for fixing and maintaining over 6000 interfaces. EAI is the middleware technology that handles data which flows internally and externally to General Motors. It comprises of data such as payroll, Sales and manufacturing to name a few.-My main responsibilities included responding to incident tickets raised by members of GM business community, Monitoring the health of our own environment and implementing changes to the environment.-I analysed consistent reoccurring problems and identified possible code fixes to permanently remove issues in our interfaces.-I worked with people from different teams across the globe daily to solve problems. -I developed and implemented monitoring scripts to prevent business impact to GM.-I worked with multiple different challenging technologies that transformed or transmitted data. These included DataStage (Version 7.5,8.1,8.5,11.3), Sterling, Seebeyond( Jcaps, SRE, ICAN) ,Aspera, IBM Integration Bus, MQ-I Conducted code reviews and deployed code changes to the EAI environments. I made recommendations for changes based on intimate knowledge of our systems. I tested for any issues after such changes.-I am experienced in operating in Linux environments. Proficient in shell scripting. -Very experienced in working with Oracle databases-Participated in the development of interfaces to move from older legacy technologies(JCAPS, ICAN, SRE) to newer technologies(Datastage, IIB)-As an SME in DataStage technology, I provided training to Opel staff inheriting GM interfaces after the sale of Opel to PSA by GM.
