CurrentSystem architecture.Mixed Signal MW/Digital design for the active tile board for an AESA RADAR utilizing multilayer PC Board technology including active and passive X-Band RF/MW components including amplifiers, phase shifters, variable gain amplifiers, corporate feed networks, RF interposer's, and digital control signals. Several mixed signal beamformer designs for X-Band AESA RADAR configurations utilizing multilayer PC Board technology including TDU's (Time delay units), power dividers (2 way and 3 way isolated), amplifiers and RF switches.Support engineering to vendors regarding new TWTA designs for legacy Telephonics RADAR's.Support engineering to vendor in solving issues including excessive integrated phase noise issues on receiver exciter designs, excessive spurious on arbitrary waveform generators and issues involving T/R limiter failures.Cognizant engineer for the APS-153 transmit chain. Responsibilities included chain analysis, with an emphasis on balancing transmit spectrum vs time domain response. Utilized an arbitrary waveform generator to pre-distort the transmit waveform to calibrate out system phase distortion resulting in greatly enhanced time domain response.
