I have been in music since 1963,and have been at it for 61 years. I started out writing for other people and doing demos for groups and myself. I recorded for Purity Records and was with Action music from 1965-1968. In 1968 I started my own record company called Cherry Records ,but still stayed with Action publishing. By 1970 I walked away from my partnership and started my group Cyrus Round. Together we started Cyrus Round Records and Cyrus Round Publishing company in 1970. We have recorded over 200 songs in the last 52 years and have written ,and produced for other artist. I enjoy being independent and not tied down to anyone. We have 7 cds on Cyrus Round Records which is released thru CD BABY. We also have 3,0085 music video's on Stephen's Corner on YOUTUBE under the name Stephen Schofield. My co- writer Mark Sieloff and I have a side group called Simon Giggle Blue Cheese Boogie Band,and have two cds out on cd baby called damaged goods ,and last dance in glendale. We have a site on facebook called Cyrus Round Records you can join.
