About Stephen Schrantz, Md

My primary interest is the development of new therapeutics for infectious diseases. I have been an active clinician since completing my training with a broad experience in adults and children. My interest and experience in infectious diseases has also been broad, but with more dedication to the management of HIV and COVID-19. I am an avid educator with students, trainees and general practitioners. I have participated as a monitor in multiple trials regarding infectious disease therapeutics and vaccines. In my current role, I review proposed clinical trials and assist in their development. I also provide my experience as an infectious disease specialist regarding the use, marketing and post-market development of infectious disease treatments and vaccines.
