I started working in a secondary school straight out of university and really enjoyed the challenge of getting the best out of individual students and helping them to achieve (especially when they surpassed expectations placed upon them). I saw many changes in my few years within education though and decided to find something new, challenging and interesting. I then discovered optics a world in which there is always something new to learn and each individual patient/customer is different with varying wants and needs. Within this sector I am again able to strive to get the best for individuals I meet on a daily basis and use the knowledge gained over the years to do this.
