theScore is a mobile first publisher of sports and eSports scores, news, and stats. While at theScore, I performed the following jobs:- Integrated a new analytics platform (Upsight, formerly Kontagent) into the iOS, Android, and Web platforms.- Conceptualized, designed, and built an internal data management system that combines various sources of information into one central location for faster and easier reporting and analysis.- Wrote queries on MySQL, HiveQL, and PostgresQL for myself and our analysts to perform regular and one-off reports.- Provided routine analysis of ranging complexity for the executives as well as the product, marketing, sales, ads, and content teams.- Designed data visualizations, using excel and R (base graphics and the ggplot2 suite of packages), for individual presentations and permanent dashboards. I removed nearly every pie chart from reports that the analytics team is involved in.
