Mr. Simmons’ career spans more that 30 years and includes security leadership, operations management and investigative experience in both the corporate and government sectors. He held security management positions of increasing responsibility in Mobil Corporation and later in ExxonMobil Corporation, culminating as Manager for ExxonMobil’s Africa operations. During his corporate career, he demonstrated exceptional leadership for managing emergency situations by combining security, community and government relations efforts into an integrated approach. Further, Mr. Simmons achieved noteworthy success in targeting pervasive corruption in procurement, contracting and other critical processes. He has extensive experience implementing risk assessment recommendations in high risk environments. For both established and new entrants into high risk environments, Mr. Simmons translates lessons learned from hands on experience into proactive strategies for avoiding corruption and barriers to achieving results.Mr. Simmons is a proven leader and problem solver, recognized for assessing and meeting management and customer expectations.
