Stephen has had over 40 years experience in the public and private sectors involved in the planning, design, procurement, delivery and management of major social infrastructure and property developments.His career started in the NSW Government where he led major infrastructure projects(early PPPs) including Manly Wharf and Wolloomooloo Bay Redevelopments. He was then involved in the planning and delivery of major precinct redevelopment projects including Pyrmont/Ultimo, Australian Technology Park at Eveleigh, Railway Square, Central Station, Circular Quay and George Street Upgrade. This included a number of facilities for the Sydney Olympics.He was General Manager for NSW State Property for 4 years responsible for the management of over 400,000 m2 of Government accomodation, large tracts of Government land and the development of a program of sustainable office projects across NSW. This role also included the disposal or redevelopment of a diverse range of major properties across NSW.During his career at SKM and Jacobs he has led the growth of the Social Infrastructure portfolio both in Australia and NZ as well as internationally. He is passionate and has been very successful in building strong collaborative relationships with a focus on the health, research and education sectors.Stephen has strong skills and proven experience in major project and precinct planning, procurement, design and delivery. He has successfully led large multidisciplinary teams on complex projects.Stephen has also played a key role in the development and growth of Jacobs and SKM's global social infrastructure business. He has also been an active participant and contributor to a range of industry bodies.
