An experienced telecommunications professional, with over 18 years in the Telecom industry, Stephen Slade currently works as a Sourcing Engagement Director at Tangoe. Prior to his current tenure with Tangoe, Stephen worked for Telwares from 2007 through 2010 as a Senior consultant, managing multiple successful telecom contract re negotiations and RFP projects for Fortune 500 clients.From 1997 through 2007, Stephen held a number of positions within the Finance organization at Sprint, including Pricing and Contract Analysis, Revenue Assurance and International Finance.In Stephen’s 7 years within the Pricing and Contract Analysis group, he was responsible for the pricing and contract negotiations of all Sprint customer agreements in the North East Region. With almost $2B per year in revenue, this region included 2 of Sprint’s Top 3 retail accounts. In this capacity, Mr. Slade became familiar with the sale, preparation, negotiation and implementation of custom network agreements as well as working at both the analytical and executive levels of numerous corporations. Following his assignment in the Pricing and Contract analysis role, Stephen was a Project Leader for the Revenue Assurance organization that identified over $80M in revenue leakage. Following the Revenue Assurance assignment, Stephen spent his last two years supporting the $1.6B Wholesale and International sales channels’ budgeting and forecasting. Prior to Sprint, Stephen spent 4 years with Siemens Stromberg-Carlson, holding positions in the finance and billing organizations. Stephen was responsible for the financial analysis on proposals for telecom switching equipment and budgeting for the sales and customer service organizations.Stephen has earned a B.A. in Economics from Villanova University in 1992.
