Chief Equity Technical Strategist
Current1) Conduct long, intermediate, and short-term technical analysis for US equity market with an emphasis on price patterns, relative strength, and volume, breadth, and momentum indicators to generate investing and trading ideas in sectors, industries, and individual stocks as well as in the global equity, fixed income, commodities, and foreign exchange markets.2) Build spreadsheets and technical models based on volume, breadth, relative strength, fundamental ratios, and/or correlations to analyze broad stock market averages, sectors, industries, and individual stocks as well as fixed income securities and yields, foreign exchange rates, commodities, and economic data.3) Conduct a weekly market analysis conference call for Global Wealth Management advisors with a focus on an analysis of and trading ideas in the US equity, fixed income, commodities, and foreign exchange markets.4) Provide analysis and written commentary for the widely read weekly Market Analysis Comment, daily Chart Talk, Thematic Stock Charts, Monthly Chart Presentation, and Chart Blast reports.5) Present technical research and market analysis – both major themes and short to intermediate-term trading/investment ideas – to BofA Merrill Lynch’s institutional equity sales/trading desks, Global Weath Management's retail sales force of over 16,000 financial advisors, and directly to the firm’s institutional clients through morning call / morning huddle presentations, e-mail, telephone conversations, and face to face meetings.
