Featuring 28 sports and nearly 30 000 competitors from around the world, Sydney hosted the largest multi-sport event. The Registrations and Accreditations department had to account for all participants, staff, personnel and volunteers for the Games. Delivery of the Accreditations Centre and ensuring each participant of the games had been accredited correctly was crucial to the role. Managing and updating the client database was key to this.
