Accountable for the development of the Avalon field which is a 2 well subsea tie-back to the company owned Excalibur FPSO. The Excalibur will require significant life extension works and a new gas compression module for processing the Avalon gas. The development CAPEX is estimated more than £300million. The project was in the define stage, seeking regulatory approval from the various regulators and the UK Government prior to a final investment decision. Unfortunately, the economics of the project have been determined to be below the Ping investment threshold and the project has been cancelled.

Providing project consultancy services to Rapid Oil for the development of the Fyne Field. Rapid Oil is a privately backed independent start-up oil & gas company. Developed the field development plan and the environmental statement for submission to various regulators. Worked closely with various host companies to develop technical and commercial heads of terms for the tie-back to their respective assets. Fyne field development is currently on hold, while the owners raise the necessary finance to develop the asset.

Responsibilities cover contract profit & loss, demonstrating strong leadership, key stakeholder management, strategic planning, ensuring adherence to core business principles and values, personnel development, business development and excellent HSSE and quality performance.

Accountable for the delivery of multiple projects. These included a mixture of green field, brownfield, topside and subsea projects all at various stages of the delivery process. This included multiple site teams working in different European locations with regular management visits. Part of the project corporate review team responsible for project stage gate approval. Reported directly to the UK Vice president for projects with regular communication and presentation to both the UK senior leadership team and Corporate headquarter. Also provided interface and support to the TLM appraisal team to ensure the feasibility of future projects.

Provide project management services to Shell – Sigma3 Ltd. Managed the delivery of all change proposals on AUK, Anasuria, Dunlin Alpha and Fulmar Alpha. This included delivery of discipline engineering deliverables, interface with Shell operations & management, safe implementation of projects offshore, budget and schedule controls.
