Responsible for reviewing customer contracts, updating customer/contract information in the billing system, performing billing and invoicing processes, and providing month-end close support to the accounting team. Currently works within a team to meet all deadlines and solve emanating quandaries with sound logic regardless of challenging circumstances. Job Duties • Handles confidential patient information in strict accordance with HIPPA and JACCHO laws. • Establishes new customer accounts and orders in the billing system. • Regularly authenticates customer information provided with clinics, PT’s, attorneys, and doctors offices. • Prepares and reviews customer invoices, including obtaining pre-authorizations from insurance companies for devices and/or supplies. • Proactively identifies billing issues and work with appropriate business partners to resolve them. • Oversees and coordinates the tracking of claims, from submission to payment. • Performs quality assurance to ensure billing is complete and invoices are prepared accurately and timely. • Meticulously identifies delinquent accounts and resolves payment issues to ensure company receives compensation for goods and services delivered. • Tracks and monitors key performance metrics for Billing. Customer Support • Facilitates the swift resolution of customer billing inquires received from internal and external customers. • Established and preserves relationships with several large healthcare providers, including VA Hospitals, One Call Care Management, Tech Health, PMSI, and AVNA.
