I joined the military shortly after High School and in 2001 I was part of the first battle group deployed to the Middle East. After leaving the service I went on to get my Bachelors degree in Business with a concentration in Finance. The motivating factor behind that was witnessing my mother's emotional ups and downs associated with trying to manage work and raise four children after she and my father divorced. She's in a better place now but it didn't come without a lot of uncertainty and stress.My mission statement is to help clients prepare for retirement and other life changing events through education and exploring the benefits and risks associated with different options.Away from the office my wife and I love taking our dog on hikes, kayaking, and I started playing golf a few years ago.
