I am currently employed as the Corporate Strategy and Performance Officer at Scenic Rim Regional Council. Previously, I was employed with the City of Gold Coast Council for almost twelve years following a successful 27 year career in the Australian Army. I am also respected nationally within the Corporate Governance industry as a facilitator, public speaker and one of the leading authorities in Australasia in all aspects of Corporate Performance Management and Annual Reporting. I am a Director on the Board of the Australasian Reporting Awards, Ex-Chair of the Awards Committee and Coordinator of the State and Federal Government Division of the awards. I am considered an expert in the field of annual reporting and over the past eight years I have provided guidance and advice to hundreds of organisations across Australia, New Zealand and SE Asia, including local government authorities, State and Federal government departments, statutory authorities, tertiary institutions and large multinationals.I speak regularly on performance management, outcome and performance measure development and annual reporting.I have extensive experience in planning, having developed and delivered annual operational plans, long term corporate plans, community plans, strategic plans and service plans. More than that however was the integration between the plans and other areas of corporate governance such as finance, risk and assets. Additionally I am experienced in the development of policy and governance frameworks.
