With 8 years of IT Technical experience, and 4 years in IT management, my career evolved from a Powertrain Mechanic for military helicopters to a pivotal role as a Production Control Manager, where I managed maintenance schedules for a fleet of 75 aircraft and maintained the integrity of their historical records. This role sharpened my IT skills, exposing me to Windows Server, SQL, IIS, DHCP, and SQL database for the first time. It also helped me build Project Management skills, and a value for protecting data from manipulation.After my military service, I pursued a Network Administration degree, which led to a technician position at Raven Industries, where I enhanced my technical ability,leadership skills, and IT infrastructure knowledge. Currently, as the VP of Information Services at One American Bank, my primary goal is safeguarding our data through the deployment of advanced security tools, staff training, and rigorous policies and monitoring practices. I am responsible for maintaining up-to-date archives of IT policy, practices, and procedures, ensuring our operations adhere to the highest standards of security and efficiency. I also manage and IT staff where part of my focus is on their growth and development track. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill enhancement.
