Working within a small team of designers and Innovation project managers to design new glass packaging across the Asia Pacific Region. Role Includes:Intimate engagement with O-I’s Sales and Marketing to commercialise New Product Development (NPD) and innovation projects. Management of a large portfolio of NPD projects through the design phase including initial briefing, client engagement, design Strategy, concept development, design proposal presentations, technical CAD development and final specification delivery.Fully refine all technical aspects of packaging within Pro Engineer, developing parametric 3D CAD parts suitable for toolingDesign with a focus on sustainability, particularly with respect to container weight reduction, to meet Australian Packaging Covenant guidelines and ensure cost savings across the packaging’s entire life cycle.Balance client’s market objectives and filling line requirements alongside O-I’s county specific manufacturing footprint.
