Main Responsibilities for this position revolve around assisting the Leakage Project Manager in the deliverance of the Domestic & Industrial Consumption Monitors. (SoDCon & SINCon)This is achieved by organising work load priorities for the Field Consumption Technicians and the Office based Consumption Analysts.The Main Outputs of the Projects are;Maintaining the Individual Household Survey Unmeasured participant population.Calculating accurate PHC consumption figures from 5 & 15 minute logger data.Calculating accurate Commercial & Industrial Consumption figures for reporting purposes.Creating a greater understanding of Customer Supply Pipe Leakage & Internal Plumbing Losses.General Reporting & analysis of all data collected.Liaising with internal partners & external consultants to ensure best practice is being carried out at all time.

Working as part of the Network Configuration Team on the Integrated Leakage and Pressure Management (ILPM) project.Responsibilities include:Interpretation of GIS batch analysis work carried out by Operational Data Team, Investment Programme - Asset Data and others.Liaison with the Modelling and Leakage Technicians within the ILPM project to negotiate configuration and data integrity actions.To digitise, or arrange for batch upload, of all GIS improvements relating to the project – ensuring that this processes enhances and supports “business as usual” activities without duplication of effort.

I am currently one of the field team members of the Survey of Domestic Consumption (SoDCon) project being run by the leakage department at Anglian Water and in partnership with Cambridge Water. My primary responsibilities on the project are;Providing a face to face service for our customers taking part in the surveySurveying sites for project compatibilityConducting work on the existing network Installation and testing of data logging equipmentIn addition to these responsibilities I have taken it upon myself to take the lead on the development of data download route and project asset spatial mapping.

I worked, between October 2010 - July 2011, for the University of Hertfordshire GIS Consultancy Team (GCT), which myself and two other Geography Gradutes help set up in the summer of 2010. The GCT offer their GIS services to small or medium sized businesses or enterprises, as well as local councils/authorities.The GCT are able to offer professional GIS services, ranging from digitisation of maps, to the mapping and analysis of client data and demographic analysis.The GCT are able to offer these services at very affordable rates, due to recent government legislation change over Ordnance Survey data.Below is a list of some of the projects that the University of Hertfordshire GCT has completed for clients;Location of potential new store site (conducted for St Francis Hospice)Integrated Spatial Data Program [Scoping Report] (conducted for Davies Engineering Limited)Presentation of Interactive GIS at a meeting of East of England LTA [Local Transport Authorities] (conducted for EValu8 Transport Limited)
