I grew up in a heavy equipment owned and operated family business. I started land development and road building work at the age of 15 during my Alaskan high school summer breaks. I started in Landfill operations 15 years ago and ended up enjoying the work. I became a SWANA certified Manager Of Landfill Operations (MOLO) in may of 2014 when I was promoted to a landfill supervisor. I Began my Florida Landfill Operations experience as the Manager of Landfill Operations for Escambia County Waste Services, and ended my time in Florida as the Landfill Operations Superintendent for Manatee County Utilities Waste Services Department. I am now the Operations Manger for the Upper Piedmont Environmental landfill in Rougemont, NC. I have formal management and supervisory training , University of Florida TREEO landfill operations certified ,HAZWOPER certified, Asset management certified, and a Class A CDL carrier. I am a born and raised Alaskan who recently moved to Florida and then to North Carolina who is looking to network with like minded government and waste services professionals to share ideas and experiences to grow into the most complete Landfill Operations professional possible .
