Professional oversight of all deployed environmental health officers and technicians, and accountable for the investigation and control of outbreaks in all joint operational environments.

Accountable for the outputs of nine regional environmental health detachments responsible for food safety inspections, occupational health audits and health protection guidance and advice for all Army barracks and training establishments in UK and Germany, including outbreak investigations in conjunction with local authorities. Headed a small team of four professionals in Northern Ireland and liaised with the local authorities to ensure all military establishments in the Province complied with statutory legislation across the whole spectrum of environmental health, including food safety, housing, health and safety, environmental protection and public health.

Design and development of bespoke military environment health training. Managed a highly competent team of instructors to deliver over ten different courses running from one week to two years in length. Facilitated distributed training to the operational environment.
