Attend and testify at court proceedings as needed.• Intervene in and mediate domestic disputes; have personally investigated hundreds of domestic violence incidents including conducting interviews and gathering information that can lead to specific charges. • Identify, pursue, apprehend, and assist in the prosecution of individuals who violate federal, state, and local laws, statutes, and ordinances. • Launched the first-ever K9 Officer program at the Rolling Meadows Police Department in 2008. K9 partner found $25,000 in cash hidden in a car console during a highway traffic stop. • Attend and participate in a variety of training sessions related to all aspects of police work.
