Whilst working with the RAF I have been able to expand my knowledge from driving a range of differentvehicle platforms to planning and management. Doing this has given me the ability to stretch intodifferent areas to logistics and transport. For example understanding the legislation and legality side ofmanaging fleet vehicles and maintaining vehicles maintenance checks. Whilst also correctly planningroutes, loads, and more. From being in a managerial position It has been one of my duties to ensureDrivers' hours Legislation is followed whilst ensuring drivers are adhering to legal compliance and keepinga professional standard whilst out on the road. I have had experience with abnormal loads transportingaircraft air-frames nation wide, whilst also working with tankers during COVID-19 supplying oxygen tohospitals nationwide. In addition to this I have also had the opportunity to cover tasks with Op Escalin Transporting flammable liquids. (petrol, diesel etc.) Doing this has given me the experience to understandhow different trailer divisions need to be planned whilst also being able to be a hands-on individual.
