I specialize in Separation Science with emphasis on field-flow fractionation and chromatography. My doctoral studies were concerned with the application of gas chromatography for measurement of physico-chemical properties of solutions, and the optimization of gas chromatographic separations. I have more than 30 years research experience in the various forms of field-flow fractionation (FFF) and related techniques, such as continuous split-flow thin channel (SPLITT) fractionation, and more than 18 years in magnetic separations. I developed the quadrupole magnetic FFF technique at the Cleveland Clinic. It is unique in its capability of determining the distribution in magnetic properties of a particulate material.
