The Improv Company is a culmination of decades of professional improv experience. We use applied improvisation tools to train people and expand their creativity! We specialize in making better collaborators, public speakers and presenters. We also use our tools to heighten creativity and make teams into ensembles and heighten communication skills. We also have a whole lot of fun using improv!-Design and develop workshops and classes for organizations-Facilitate workshops and classes for organizations and individuals-Design and develop workshops and classes for individuals of all experience levels-Speaker Coaching for speakers including script development, onstage and on-video directing and final delivery-Design and develop Public Speaking training for all experience levels-Live performance and event production-Live event hosting

I am the lead facilitator and instructor for the MICE and MICE Light programs at North Forge in collaboration with the MET Schools. This is an entrepreneurial-based program teaching the skills of business and entrepreneurship culminating in a final pitch presentation.-Design lesson plans over the 10-month program-Use my skills as an Instructional Designer to create new learning material-Communicate with the advisors of each of the participants-Facilitate lessons in person twice a week-Use my skills in Applied Improvisation to design and build exercises to encourage collaboration-Organize Mentorship and Internship opportunities for the participants-Speaker-coach the participants as they work on their final pitches

Artistic Director and Founder of the Winnipeg Improv Festival.-Oversee all productions, performances and workshops at the festival-Oversee a team of artists, performers, technicians and volunteers for the run of the festival-Curate several ensembles of artists to create improvised work-Design and develop multiple new formats and performances-Create new works and new formats-Lead workshops and train new ensembles of performers-Oversee the entire marketing plan including graphic design, website, and digital marketing plans-Successfully produce youth programming, bilingual programming, new media programming and experimental work.-Twenty-plus seasons of festivals equal approximately +200 performances, +500 artists, and hundreds of workshops successfully produced and executed.

I have designed and executed many courses, classes and workshops for many different organizations. (Prairie Theatre Exchange, Manitoba Theatre for Young People, Academy of Broadcasting, Creative Manitoba, McNally Robinson and North Forge) as well as many freelance and private workshops while touring internationally.The area of focus for the classes is improvisation, theatre, comedy, public speaking, communication and teambuilding. I love teaching!

I have so much experience planning and executing events, this contract allowed me to bring that experience to the growing tech scene here in Manitoba. What a great opportunity it was to work for this great organization. I look forward to the future projects I will work on with them.
