A positive, dependable and charismatic trainer and manager with a proven track record of facilitating success. As a Mental Health Lead Trainer (Formerly Training Partner), I have a dual role. Part of my week is spent delivering our suite of Mental Health courses whilst the other half is spent in product development, staff mentoring, promoting our courses and products and maintaining standards as an IQA and dip sampler. I get a real buzz from end-to-end project management and delivery which often includes creating bespoke courses for our client(s).I have a high attention to detail, a high work rate and I pride myself on going to work to do the best job that I can with the end user always very firmly at the forefront of my mind. I am pragmatic, passionate and committed to seeing positive change within workplaces.I have 17 years worth of experience in the leisure industry; beginning as a lifeguard, progressing into swimming teaching, then into senior management with line management responsibilities for, at one time, 85 staff. I can also deliver lifeguard, AED, anaphylaxis and first aid training and assessing as an RLSS Trainer Assessor, as well as also holding my IQA accreditation both within the RLSS and SJA. I still deliver RLSS training and assessing alongside my role within Saint John Ambulance.I further have 2 years experience as a primary school teacher working within a challenging school, with responsibilities as the ICT lead and PE coordinator.
