Dr. Baldwin has been a valued coach, mentor, and developer of leaders throughout his forty plus years of diverse ministry and work experience in the US and overseas. His most recent certifications include Appreciative Inquiry Certified Facilitator and Certified RightPath® Coach.His journey and advanced training gives Stephen a unique lens for coaching. He brings encouragement, insight, and experience to pastors and leaders in ministry and non-profits, social entrepreneurs, and business leaders. His passion is to develop leadership teams that grow in mutual respect and trust, and that excel in their calling.He led the launch of a career fellowship in a local church in Washington D.C. in the 80s, a season of urban cross-cultural church planting and leadership team development in Dublin, Ireland in the 90s, and was the founding pastor and church planter for two more start up churches in the US into the late 2000s. This involved creating the plan, designing the organizational structure, and leading the team building and training processes for leaders to implement culturally appropriate communities of worship and outreach.His life journey has included singing in a rock band, touring in Italy and Spain on bicycle, working in his family's construction business, managing a restaurant, living and learning in community in Switzerland and Montana, and founding a campus coffee house ministry with his college roommate.Stephen's musical background, along with his wife, Karen's culinary artistry, have connected him with chefs, restaurateurs, authors, musicians, and artists. As a coach, he is passionate about helping people to be fully alive and to discover and use their unique artistry for the good of the world.
