For the Fall 2016 semester, I served as the instructor of EMST 4250 - Video Production at UGA's Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. EMST 4250 (and its associated lab) is designed to advance the visual storytelling skills students gain in the introductory EMST 3210 course. I took great pride in watching their skill base grow. I was over the moon when one of my student's final projects, "Michael Davenport: The Armless Artist," won a film festival in February 2017.
