• Met with prospective grantees and prepare monthly detail-oriented formal evaluations of and recommendations for the Board for funding requests to ensure grants are in alignment with the Foundation’s Economic Transformation and Workforce strategy and addresses high priority community needs• Served as lead with Vice President of Strategic Grantmaking and Arts/Urban Design Initiatives of a cross-functional team to achieve goals and objectives of social investment committee• Worked with program directors and officers to develop pipeline of social investment opportunities by identifying projects across all strategic grantmaking areas• Worked cross-departmentally to underwrite transactions for risk and impact, ensure outstanding loans are current, and monitor active projects under the Foundations Program Related Investment portfolio• Captured and disseminated factual information and prepare thoughtful analyses of workforce and social investment topics and organizations to promote a deeper sense of awareness amongst Foundation stakeholders• Monitored various sectors to remain abreast of best practices, sector trends, and policy implications as they relate to workforce, social investment, and other relevant topic areas• Effectively managed and collaborated on grantmaking program(s) or special project(s) with a concentration in workforce, social investments, and regional collaboration/alignment• Served as technical resource for committee-advised funds and/or supporting organizations to ensure that donor intent best aligns with community needs• Monitored and evaluated funded grant implementation and arrange for consultation and technical assistance as appropriate• Developed collaborative relationships with a diverse cross-section of multi-sector agencies and leaders.• Actively participated in affinity groups to confirm standing as a thought leader and serve as a knowledgeable resource on workforce, social investment, and other topics of importance to the community
