My responsibilities as Director of Marketing included internal and external communication, social and traditional media marketing, publication design and execution, photography, and website management. As the Director of Student Life I was charged with managing the spiritual culture of the student body by planning weekly chapel, service opportunities, and additional events for students.

I began the girls soccer program at BCS in 2010 and was the head coach for 3 of 4 seasons. In each season I coached the team made it to the playoffs, earning playoff victories in 2010 and 2012.

While working for Pflugerville ISD I was trained in crisis management communications by The Ammerman Experience, worked directly for the district's director of communications, and was relied upon for a wide variety of jobs. I managed content on the 10,000 page district website, wrote district news, and was the photographer and videographer for the 23,000 student and 29 school district. I was also responsible for the transfer of the district website and all 29 school sites from an in-house site to a new content management system. After building all of the school sites I trained administrators from each campus to edit and run their new sites.

My job was to work with the official scorer to interpret each play and clearly communicate it to all web-based viewers for the Round Rock Express, the Triple-A team for the Texas Rangers. My work made it possible for fans to watch a play-by-play account of the game online.

As the sports editor for Highland Lakes Newspapers I was responsible for four weekly printings, a bi-weekly and two weekly papers. As the editor I budgeted and laid out all sports sections, wrote the majority of all news and editorial content, and was the primary photographer. I managed a small staff of stringers for writing and photography, as well.

My job was to produce as much quality content as I could each a week. With 11 high schools and a small NAIA college in our area, there was always too much to cover. So we worked hard to budget space for each team at each school on an equitable scale. On an average week I produced 15-20 pieces, including photography and a weekly editorial piece. I was honored with numerous awards for my writing and photography by the Nebraska Associated Press.
