From 2003 to September 2009 I was head of the music department at Walsall Academy where developed a department in a new school. The success of the music department has meant that the number of students studying music at GCSE and BTEC level is extremely high with over 150 students taking music in KS4.In 2009 I made the decision to move to Manchester to study for Masters degree in Conducting.
