• Manage high risk and high value sourcing and agreement creation for Electric Generation & Technical Services.o Lead and Assist sourcing and contracting multi-million-dollar initiatives such as Engineering & DesignRFP and contract creation for the next 3-5 years encompassing an estimated spend of $1.2B.o Maintain a technical knowledge of procurement policies and processes, allowing for fluid coordinationbetween internal SDG&E partners, executives, external supplier relationships and other key partners.• Lead and manage contracting activities and processes associated with the procurement of services and goods.o Identify reliable, diverse, cost-effective suppliers through DBE Ambassador role. (WMDVBE)o Knowledge and ease of navigation of power and gas utility industry operational departments.o Relationship management and healthy communication between internal and external stakeholders.o Proactively integrate client requirements and business performance measures into sourcing efforts.o Administer, manage and assist with RFIs/RFPs through PowerAdvocate, PEPMA, and other platforms• Collaborate with support staff, business unit managers, and executive management on an enterprise-wide scale.o Support of program objectives and communication with local, regional, state and national supplierdiversity organizations, associations or regulating bodies (e.g. CPUC) regarding sourcing efforts.o Compliance with regulatory, reporting and policy requirements and corresponding strategy.o Enable conflict resolution between Suppliers and Company to ensure mutually beneficial outcome.• Develop and Define Department Procedure, Policy, and Integration through Standards Committee.o Cross-Functional team member with law department, risk management, and accounts payable.o Ensure procedure and contracting practices are aligned with category management plans and practices.
