Stephen Fiedler, Web Assistant While a graduate student of Politics at Brandeis University I was a web assistant for Peacebuilding and the Arts. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Chinese from Pomona College. My academic focus is on China, East Asia and US-Sino Relations, including trade issues, global economic finance and governance. I have studied abroad, travelled, taught and worked throughout China and I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese. My undergraduate work includes a thesis presented in April 2008: “ASEAN vs. APEC: Regionalism on Increasingly East Asian Terms”, and a documentary presented through the Pacific Basin Institute, “The New Shaolin Order: The Commercialization of Kung Fu Culture.”
