Head/First chair trial attorney representing clients in all varieties of negligence cases throughout Georgia, the Southeast and the Virgin Islands. Collectively won millions of dollars in settlements and judgments. Instrumental in growing small business with two employees to an expanding high-profile firm with 10+ employees and a 700+ caseload.

Twice on front page of Fulton County Daily Report for jury verdicts. Independently managed an average of 75+ cases from intake to completion, including mediation and trial. Successfully represented clients in Magistrate trials and four second-chair jury trials (all won). Litigation practice included wide variety of personal injury matters, wrongful death, premises liability, products liability, transportation, insurance coverage and general negligence. Took and defended Plaintiff’s/Defendant’s depositions as well as witness, expert and medical depositions. Prepare and argued various motions including Motions for Summary Judgment, Motions in Limine, and discovery motions. Significant client contact and client development. Spearheaded update and implementation of litigation technology.

Represented employers and insurers in defending workers' compensation and employment matters throughout the state of Georgia. Advised, educated, and defended clients throughout complex claims, litigation, and settlement proceedings. Developed individual client relationships to cultivate effective, efficient strategies. Prepared presentations on current legal developments and conducted educational seminars for employers and insurance professionals.

Appeared in court under student attorney license. Researched and drafted court documents, motions, and memorandums. Interviewed clients and witnesses. Analyzed issues for appeal procedures.

Independently wrote four victorious Motions for Summary Judgment involving complex matters. Provided support to practice focused on insurance defense, medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, transportation and construction litigation. Conducted legal research and prepared pretrial documents. Coordinated litigation assignments from numerous insurance companies. Managed large electronic document database.

Provided support to practice focused on insurance defense and general liability litigation. Researched and drafted memoranda of law in the areas of tort, contract, employment, health and insurance law. Coordinated and attended depositions. Filed motions in court systems throughout Georgia and the 11th Circuit. Was asked to remain on staff with supervising Partner following his move from Buckley King to Casey Gilson.

Assisted the Senior Public Prosecutor in assessing the validity of claims alleging constitutional violations. Conducted research and drafted reports comparing Korean and U.S. principles of law. Participated in weekly seminars with the Court’s Secretary General to discuss the legal and practical effects of recent judgments on the future of South Korea’s constitutional system.

Member of the Tort and Environmental Litigation Practice Group. Managed and coordinated nationwide litigation and trial preparation for products liability and asbestos-related cases. Researched, developed, and organized fact and expert discovery evidence with opposing and local counsels. Coordinated motions, hearings, and filings with state and federal court systems. Assisted in drafting all pretrial motions and discovery responses.

Assisted financial advisors in the management of individual and institutional investments and finances. Compiled client portfolio information in an account tracking system. Contacted potential investors to promote advisor conferences.
