Computer science, networking and Azure.Currently working on BA in computer networking. HND Computing Technical Support with Cyber Security Year 2 (2022-2023) achieved grade A, completed HNC Computing with grade A, working towards a networking degree hosted by NCL provided by UWS. All modules completed listed below.

The main duties of this role were to attend damaged properties with a view to restore damaged items or buildings to their pre-incident condition following fire or flooding, claim validation, triage, evidence collection via written reports, videos and photographs and taking inventories of items beyond repair for disposal. During my time as a technician at polygon I acheived the inhouse "gateway to success" at intermediate level. The training program was designed to increase technicians awareness of current best practices and technologies most effective in acheiving the goal of reducing the claim cycle for insurers. I attended several disaster zones due to flooding during this time which involved very long hours in challenging environments and working in many different areas of the U.K.In total I have over 10 years experience in the restoration industry with Polygon and others in a customer facing role. I feel like this gives me a great insight into understanding and managing peoples needs. A lot of the time we met our customers at one of the worst times of their lives and we had to have a sympathetic manner while still managing expectations of likely outcomes and getting the job done minimizing costs to the insurer and maximising efficiency.The majority of the time I worked alone and managed my own jobs from start to finish (after the initial booking completed by HQ). This would mean organising any additonal trades to attend site such as electricians to make safe following flooding or organising waste disposal. Planning of diary and route optimization was a big part of the role as my area of operations was Morayshire and Aberdeenshire for which I was the sole technician. Accurate reporting was crucial to ensure insurers were correctly informed of the situation on site and updated regularly on estimated completion dates and costings.

Main duties for this role were ensuring vehicles were clean inside and out, picking up and dropping off customers from local bodyshops or home address etc. Ensuring relevant safety check were completed and the documentation for this was done and some stock control for cleaning products.
