I was an engineer and preferred working alone. But in 2016, after being rejected from a leadership program, I joined the Professional Asian American Network. I started to find my voice and gain confidence in public speaking. Then in 2018, I started a #52WeekChallenge to post videos every single week on LinkedIn. These weekly videos have significantly improved my confidence, my delivery, and my public speaking. I worked to fix my weaknesses and continuously improved week after week. The script removes human error and improves efficiency by 95%โ€ข Created a Smartsheet Dashboard for upper management visibility that shows scoring results of past and upcoming reviews, including monthly and quarterly statusesMaterial Risk Index (MRI) and Supplier Engagementโ€ข Created a summary Excel to seamlessly transition responsibilities to supply chain by showing the status of 55 suppliers within our 15-step Obsolescence Management Process and Continuous Improvement Plan and the maturity level of each supplier. This included an Excel VBA macro that easily displays the action needed by highlighting and indicating the next step for each supplier.โ€ข Created an Excel VBA script to automate the monthly verification of 3000+ supplier obsolescence notifications, reducing processing time by 90% from 5 hours to less than 30 minutes. The script identifies if each part is truly obsolete, compliant to the notification period, identifies potential exclusion reasons and creates summary graphs for reporting purposesโ€ข Created a Smartsheet scorecard and dashboard for 60 strategic suppliers, which allows 4 team leads to input their scores for each supplier and it compiles and provides the average and a letter grade.
