I was an engineer and preferred working alone. But in 2016, after being rejected from a leadership program, I joined the Professional Asian American Network. I started to find my voice and gain confidence in public speaking. Then in 2018, I started a #52WeekChallenge to post videos every single week on LinkedIn. These weekly videos have significantly improved my confidence, my delivery, and my public speaking. I worked to fix my weaknesses and continuously improved week after week.
