My experience spans 29 years, 25 of which have been as a Structural Consulting Engineer in Wellington New Zealand. Following the Feb 22 2011 earthquake I relocated to Christchurch to become involved in the cities rebuild. This was a lifetime opportunity I felt I could not afford to miss.I have a strong interest and passion for the implementation of new earthquake resilient technologies and working in challenging engineering environments have been the key motivators for relocating to Christchurch. I enjoy working with people and transferring engineering knowledge to help people better understand what is possible in earthquake resilient design.In 1999 I co-founded my own structural consultancy, Romulus Consulting Group in Wellington before entering into a merger with Aurecon in 2008. I am now a Technical Director in the Aurecon Christchurch office.
