I have a belief in the transformational power of creativity to affect positive change in the world. 2024 is about re-framing a lifetime of private sector creative industry experience, strategic marketing and comms planning into helping people and this planet. My focus will be on assisting transformational companies, NGOs, social enterprises and government agencies working on 'public good' communications, humanitarian issues, disaster relief, maritime rescue and ocean-based environmental protection. First and foremost I am a brand and marketing planner. My job is to identify and define audiences. To uncover actionable insights and to make creative connections. To build brand belief, brand love and develop long-term brand relationships.I have 25 years experience of building creative and digital teams for some of the biggest global brands (and some local gems too), delivering award-winning and highly effective campaigns offline and online. I also believe that business should be a force for good in the world. As such I reshaped the culture and enterprise at McCann Dublin and led the team that delivered BCorp certification for the agency - the first agency in the McCann WorldGroup/ NYSE: IPG global network.What I’ll bring to any project, business or charity: an entrepreneurial brain that’s opportunity-focused but socially conscious; a no-ego and always learning approach; empathetic listening coupled with strategic planning execution; team leadership and organisational delivery with can-do energy.
