Hired initially to interpret documents from the German Armed Forces in connection with a Small-Arms Training Simulator (IWTS / AGSHP) being developed by TT&S.Retained to work with team participating in customer discussions (german language), software development in Ada.Led two teams of engineers, one in UK, one in Germany (Koblenz), to develop 200+ training exercises for the german armed forces to their specification for use on the simulator. Training exercises were divided up and tailored to the individual requirements of infantry, special forces, alpine troops, navy and air force (primarily guard duty scenarios).Supervised and conducted testing and acceptance of these exercises took place in Koblenz (TT&S plant) and the Bundeswehr Infantry Training School at Hammelburg, Bavaria over a period of approximately two years, with most of my communication with the customer in the german language.On-site representative for three month customer soak-test of simulator at Hammelburg.
