Business Acumen Magazine has been a market leader since its first edition in 2004, when it began as Business Acumen Queensland. It developed into one of Australia’s very few (and dwindling) national business magazines, appealing to business owners, CEOs, managing directors and department heads of businesses, government departments and tertiary educators across the country.For most of its existence, Business Acumen has been the only magazine focused on Australian business innovation (with a regular section in each edition) and providing a conduit for exposure to assist with growth and attract investment. It is closely watched in government circles as an early indicator of growth companies, innovation and export-ready businesses.Business Acumen has helped develop and promote the landmark exhibitions the Australian Innovation Exhibition (Brisbane 2010) and the Australian Business Development Exhibition (Brisbane 2006 and 2007).Business Acumen is the media partner of Queensland Leaders – and now International Leaders – the unique Australian organisation developing the next generation of leading companies.Acumen was also a media partner with the 2004-2015 Innovation Series luncheon series in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, created by Zernike Australia and supported by AIC, CSIRO, ANSTO and universities QUT and RMIT.Business Acumen is the media partner, and sits on the advisory board, of Digital Business insights' (DBi's) innovative digital business development platforms: the Manufacturing toolbox, the Agriculture Toolbox, the Australian Trade Showcase and the most recent Regional Economic Development (RED) Toolbox. These are transformative Australian economic development platforms that provide knowledge, networks, communication and connection for regional project development.The platforms are also used to assist Australian companies to export and develop growth markets nationally and internationally.
