I am currently at the Abbott Nutrition division of Abbott Laboratories in Sturgis, Michigan. I am involved with the calibration, installation, and maintenance of various instruments throughout the plant including but not limited to flow meters, temperature indicators/controllers, chart recorders. scales/load cells, level sensors, PH sensors, and many others. These must be maintained to a high standard to ensure the safe production of a large variety of liquid and powdered infant and adult nutrition products through blending, pasteurizing, homogenizing, drying, canning/filling, and case packing processes.
