Review and regularly update category ranges by researching and sourcing new product through both new and existing suppliers to ensure a strong food offering.Liaise with suppliers and distributors regularly to assist in effectively negotiating purchasing terms and conditions and best price deals with an emphasis on controlling costs, increasing margins and ensuring efficient supply of top-quality product. Assist in managing the supply of everyday and seasonal product by monitoring stock levels, analysing sales, raising purchase orders and transferring stock across branches, ensuring continuous availability of product to drive sales and to minimise waste. Identify new market trends and implement actions to benefit from those trends.Communicate price changes and new product information to the stores while enabling them in achieving high level of sales.Liaise with the online and marketing teams to develop and increase our ambient food offering on our website and our social platforms.
